Susan E. Chapman is Senior Vice President of Global Real Estate Strategy and Workplace Enablement for American Express, a company with 65,000 employees in 41 countries. Prior to working for American Express, Chapman worked at executive level positions at several other Fortune 500 companies, including Citigroup.
Chapman participates on various boards such as Vision 2020’s National Ally Girls Inc. and Leadership Education and Development (LEAD). In 2010, Black Enterprise named her as one of the “75 Most Powerful Women in Business.
When she is not participating in community service activities for girls, Chapman speaks for organizations including The Harvard Business School Club New York and Commercial Real Estate Women.
Chapman receiver her B.S. degree in Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University, master’s degree in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Vision 2020 recognizes Chapman for representing its National Goal of women in senior leadership positions.
