Our Director of Vision 2020 to be Honored by Bryn Mawr College

Catherine Ormerod

 

 

Catherine Ormerod, Director of Vision 2020, will receive the 2012 Alumnae Award for Collaborative Leadership, Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research.  Ms. Ormerod received a Master in Social Sciences and a Master in Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr in 1999. 

“Ms. Ormerod is being recognized for her work as the founding director in 2005 of Bryn Mawr College’s Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute (NELI), and in her present position as Director of Vision 2020, where she demonstrates collaborative leadership at the local, regional and national levels,” said Darlyne Bailey, Dean of the Graduate School of Social Work, Bryn Mawr College.   “As Director of NELI, Ormerod partnered with organizations to prepare women and men for leadership roles in the non-profit sector. At Drexel’s Vision 2020 she is working collaboratively to support the work of increasing women in leadership positions in all aspects of American life.”

The Award will be presented Friday, May 25thduring Bryn Mawr College’s Alumnae/i weekend.
