Getting to Know the Vision 2020 Delegates

Every Friday Vision 2020 highlights news about our National and Visionary Delegates. This week Vision 2020 is featuring Morgan Coffey, a National Delegate from Atlanta, Georgia. Coffey is one of the youngest delegates, but don’t let her age fool you; she’s already a founder of a nonprofit.  Coffey created Stronghold Atlanta, which provides help to women and children who have been victims of domestic violence.

Coffey was a Girl Scout for 12 years and now she mentors other young women as a troop leader for eighth-grade girls. She is a student at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, where she is studying business with a concentration in non-profit management.

She was recently featured on the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta blog, along with two other National Delegates who are also Girl Scouts: Connie Lindsey, president of the Girl Scouts of the USA, and Natalia Thompson.
